As a Human Resonance Expert and top keynote speaker, I’ve received several hundred standing ovations, over 20 years, from the most unlikely of crowds. It is always a cherished honor, but the goal is never to just make them stand up for me.
The goal is to inspire an audience to stand up for what they believe. Because I believe that, while the ovation may come at the end, it is evidence of a new beginning. A new possibility. A renewed sense of belonging, and commitment to the community, customers, or cause that they are willing to stand for. Which starts with what they are moved to STAND UP for.
